EZDown - Ford Ranger PX3 (including Ford Ranger Raptor)

EZDown Tailgate Assist Kit – Ford Ranger PX3 (2018–2022)

Make your Ford Ranger PX3 tailgate safer, smoother and easier to use with the EZDown Tailgate Assist Kit, designed specifically for the Ford Ranger PX3.

The EZDown Tailgate Assist controls the opening of your Ranger tailgate, preventing the heavy tailgate from dropping suddenly under its own weight. Instead, the tailgate lowers smoothly and in a controlled motion – making everyday access to your ute tub easier and more convenient.

Tailgate Assist Designed for the Ford Ranger PX3

Whether your Ranger PX3 is used as a work ute, tow vehicle, touring 4WD or everyday driver, the tailgate is one of the most frequently used parts of the vehicle.

EZDown adds controlled damping to the tailgate, helping reduce the sudden drop and impact associated with opening an unsupported ute tailgate.

Release the handle and let EZDown do the rest.

Why Fit an EZDown Ford Ranger PX3 Tailgate Assist?

• Controlled tailgate opening – helps prevent the Ranger tailgate from dropping suddenly.
• Safer and easier operation – particularly useful when loading or unloading with your hands full.
• Vehicle-specific fitment – designed specifically for the Ford Ranger PX3.
• Clean installation – engineered to integrate neatly with the vehicle.

A Practical Upgrade for Your Ranger PX3

The Ford Ranger PX3 remains one of Australia's most popular and capable utes, and EZDown makes accessing the tub easier every time you use it.

Instead of having to support the weight of the tailgate as you open it, the EZDown Ford Ranger PX3 Tailgate Assist Kit controls its descent for a smoother and more refined opening action.

Whether you're loading tools, camping equipment, groceries or gear for the weekend, it's a simple upgrade that makes a noticeable difference to everyday usability.
