EZDown Tailgate Assist Kit – Toyota Hilux N70 (2005–2015)
Make your Toyota Hilux tailgate safer, smoother and easier to use with the EZDown Tailgate Assist Kit, designed specifically for the Toyota Hilux N70 (2005–2015).
The EZDown Tailgate Assist controls the opening of your Hilux tailgate, preventing the heavy tailgate from dropping suddenly under its own weight. Instead, the tailgate lowers smoothly and in a controlled motion – making everyday access to your ute tub easier and more convenient.
Tailgate Assist Designed for the Toyota Hilux N70
The N70 Hilux has earned a reputation as a tough, dependable workhorse, with plenty still being used every day as work utes, touring 4WDs and daily drivers.
EZDown adds controlled damping to the tailgate, helping reduce the sudden drop and impact associated with opening an unsupported ute tailgate.
Release the handle and let EZDown do the rest.
Why Fit an EZDown Toyota Hilux N70 Tailgate Assist?

Give Your N70 Hilux a Practical Upgrade
Your Hilux might have been built to work hard, but that doesn't mean its tailgate needs to come crashing down every time you open it.
The EZDown Toyota Hilux N70 Tailgate Assist Kit controls the descent of the tailgate, providing a smoother and more refined opening action without taking away from the practicality that makes the Hilux such a popular ute.
Whether you're loading tools, camping equipment, recovery gear or everyday cargo, it's a simple upgrade you'll appreciate every time you access the tub.

EZDown - Toyota Hilux N70 (2005 - 2015)
Great bit of kit, purchased to replace 10 yr old similar that finally failed after thousands of uses. Every ute should have them.

What an awesome piece of kit!
Being a tradie, it makes loading an unloading the tub easy, specially with a hand full of tools! Love it so much 3 of the boys on site ordered at the same time!

A Must Have!
Bought my EZDown after seeing it on a mates' Navara, thought it was really cool. But I found out just exactly how brilliant it was when my 7 year old opened the tailgate and had his 5 year old brother next to him, had it not been for the EZDown... I can only imagine what would have happened!
