If your vehicle has a Shim Plate in the tailgate on the lower right hand side bracket (between the wall of the tailgate and the bracket) do NOT use the lower 1mm Washer as it will cause the stud to foul against the vehicle.

    Great product, easy to instal with a few basic tools. Works as promised.

    A good product that is easy to fit provided you have the correct tool which you may need to borrow from a mechanic. Works well going down but you still need to lift the tail gate up as it does not assist in that direction.

    Great product. Easy, clear instructions. Easy install. Well thought out/well engineered. Couldn't have a ute without one.

    Make's opening the tailgate so much easier, especially when my hands are full of tools. As a tradie, I definitely won't have another ute without one!
